An enclosure should be selected around the golfer and the technology—not only the available wall width.

1. Measure the true clear space

Record finished width, floor-to-ceiling height and usable depth after doors, lights, shelves and mechanical equipment are considered.

2. Check swing clearance

Test both right- and left-handed swings with the longest club that will be used. Allow margin around the club path rather than designing to the exact sweep.

3. Plan screen offset

The impact screen needs clearance from hard surfaces behind it. Follow the screen and equipment guidance for the selected system.

4. Account for launch-monitor requirements

Camera-based and radar-based systems may require different ball-to-screen and device distances. Confirm those requirements with the equipment manufacturer.

5. Choose portability or permanent use

Inflatable enclosures are ideal when a bay must move, store compactly or support temporary events. A frame kit may suit a dedicated room.
